Christine Simpson was born in Liverpool, England and she has been living in County Waterford, Ireland for the past 14 years. She is a lecturer in Photography, practicing Artist and Curator. Much of her work as Curator has involved working closely with Magnum Photographer Paul Fusco and the Chernobyl Children’s Project on issues surrounding the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. She has curated exhibitions in New York (United Nations Headquarters), Dublin, London and Italy.
She is also a member of the Special Photographer’s Company, London and has exhibited in Ireland, Spain, America and the UK.
