Time to write 4 Haiti! Writers4peace will host it’s first ever international poetry contest to benefit and keep hope alive for the children of Haiti. Details are available on the Write 4 Haiti contest page.

Success! Writers4peace.com officially launched its inaugural issue to a capacity crowd of over 400 people! More importantly, all of the creative work is garnering critical acclaim and reviews. We will post pictures for the launch party soon. Next issue will appear in the Fall/Winter with contests!

Launch Time! The first official issue of Writers4peace is tentatively published online. Today’s festivities begin with an early morning interview on AM 610 at 6:45a.m. After that, bring on the media as we promote Writers4peace.com alongside the Arts and Film Festival. Hope to see you there!

The launch date for Writers4peace is almost upon us. Editors are collaboratively selecting the final pieces for the inaugural issue!

Writers4peace is calling for submissions in the categories of music, visual art, fiction, essays and poetry for our Inaugural Issue. The launch date has been set for May 28, 2009. The deadline for submissions is May 9, 2009. Send us your best creative work inspired by a social justice issue. The time has finally come to take this journal off the ground. We look forward to receiving your work!
