Contest Guidelines
  1. All entries must be submitted in the body of the email, online to poetrycontest@writers4peace.com
  2. Deadline for all entries is May 1, 2010.  A shortlist of the top ten finalists will be posted at www.writers4peace.com.  Winner and top ten finalists will be announced at the Writers4peace 2nd edition launch in May and published in the 2nd edition of www.writers4peace.com
  3. The entrant’s full name, address, brief bio, email information and the title of the poem must appear in the body of the email.
  4. The entry fee for each poem is $10. All entry fees, by cheque or money order, must be sent to the following mailing address:

    Niagara Falls, ON, Canada  L2E  6S5

    Submissions will not be processed until the entry fee is received.
    Canadian residents may use Canadian funds, but entrants outside Canada must use American funds.

  5. Entries must be original, unpublished material, not under consideration elsewhere.
  6. This contest is open to anyone
  7. Works of translation are eligible.
  8. Once an entry is received, no revisions will be allowed, and entry fees become non-refundable.
  9. The winner will be notified in May, while the top ten finalists will be published in the 2nd edition of www.writers4peace.com.
  10. All winners will be notified by email.
